In 1896, Johann Dietrich Rothfos, owner of the ‘Im Grünen Tal’ garden café and general store in St. Magnus, near Bremen, started selling his green coffee beans for customers to roast at home themselves in a pan.

Our products are produced in seven of our own plants. Each plant uses state-of-the-art facilities and processes. When it comes down to it, quality is our top priority. We monitor this in every single step of the production process.
